"First time we've been there. Waiter service, very clean, smart and tidy. Looks very upmarket when compared to other similar businesses here and very impressive. Good aircon. The pork steak was really tasty and tender. Only downside was the menu showed sweetcorn and around 10 fries but we were only given carrot and corn mix which was, as far as I could tell, uncooked and I had 4 fries. We've been there several times now and the food we've ordered has always been tasty and tender; one critism is that the food ordered comes out at various times, so you don't eat as a group but eat at staggered times."

The space itself is casual and comfortable, but the seating layout is strange. I found myself on a low couch, reaching up to the table like a little kid at the adult table. Ended up using a throw pillow just to sit at a proper height. The menu, while packed with options, felt overwhelming—too many pages and too much to navigate. A tighter, more focused menu could really elevate the experience. It doesn’t give off a fancy steakhouse vibe, but maybe that’s part of the charm the owner is aiming for. Food Talk Let’s be clear: the porterhouse was outstanding. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and truly the highlight of the visit. It’s the kind of steak that makes you forgive a lot of the setting’s quirks. The portion, the doneness, the quality—spot on. Service Story The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. Even with the odd seating, the service kept the experience enjoyable. Final Thoughts Angus Dan serves up fantastic steak in a setting that could use a bit of polish. If you’re here for the food, you’ll walk away happy. Just be ready to adjust your seat."

"Stumbled upon this place twice when the restaurants I planned to visit in the area were closed. I’ve yet to try Angus Dan’s best sellers, but from the dishes I did try, everything was decent. I wouldn’t call their food revolutionary or outstanding, but it’s reasonably priced and definitely better than just okay. Carbonara – It’s not the original Italian version, but if you enjoy Filipino-style carbonara (like I do), you’ll probably like it. The serving size was generous, which made it even better. Calamari – The texture was good (not rubbery), though I wish it had more seasoning. Garlic Steak – They nailed the doneness! Since it’s a cheaper cut, I wasn’t expecting much, but the seasoning carried it well and I enjoyed it. The sides, however, could be improved. I don’t like my veggies served cold, and unfortunately the cauliflower came out cold. Sisig Nachos – This was my favorite dish. The acidity from the tomatoes and calamansi balanced the fattiness of the pork perfectly. My only critique is that I prefer sisig meat on the crispier side, but flavor-wise, it was really good. Service & Ambiance – The service was great; the servers were attentive and accommodating when I was there. For the ambiance, I didn’t quite understand the setup. They paired low couches with standard dining tables, which made the seating a bit awkward."

"Food did not disappoint. Pork sisig as DIP was interesting, and we loved it. Onion rings were not as tasty as that of Racks, but we still finished it . Steak was cooked as preferred, i.e... well done,medium well, etc. We each have different preferences on how our steak is cooked. Prices are reasonable, and we might come back if there is an occasion to celebrate."

"Angus Dans! Definitely one of the best romantic restaurants here in Cebu City. This is where we had dinner for Valentine's, and it did not disappoint. We waited almost 30 minutes just to get a table, which is very understandable. The menu at that time was limited, but it was still okay. We ordered scallops, gambas, steak, carbonara, and two calamansi juices. The very first thing we noticed when we got inside was how romantic the place was. There was a violin playing while we were eating, plus the ambiance of the place was nice too! The air conditioning was good, and the tables and chairs were okay as well. The service was a little slow since it was a busy day. I needed to follow up on our order every time we were there. The only drawback with their food was the garlic rice; there were some hard grains that felt like you were biting into salt, that texture. But despite that, our overall experience with the food was so good. The food was delicious, and the total cost was 3235 pesos. Thank you for making our Valentine's date a beautiful experience, Angus Dans! A must-try place if you're looking for something romantic."
